Betty Gilpin (born July 21, 1986) is an American actress. She is notable for portraying Doctor Carrie Roman in Showtime's Nurse Jackie. She has also appeared in Law & Order: SVU, Medium, Fringe and Elementary.
She has appeared off-Broadway in productions such as Heartless, I'm Gonna Pray for You So Hard and We Live Here. In October 2016, she was cast as Debbie "Liberty Belle" Eagan in the Netflix comedy series GLOW, which was inspired by the 1980s female professional wrestling league of the same name.
She is the daughter of actor Jack Gilpin.
In 2019, she was nominated for an Emmy Award for her role as Debbie on the second season of GLOW.[1] Although she did not win, she appeared at the awards ceremony and was said to sparkle.[2]
