Season 2 of the Netflix series GLOW was released on June 29, 2018. As with all Netflix series, all episodes of the season were released on this date.

The second season of the series follows the ladies of GLOW, the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, as they tackle new challenges such as an overly-ambitious network head and balancing a career with the demands of being a single mother.[1]

The second season was followed by the third season on August 9, 2019.[2]

The second season of GLOW was even more strongly praised than the first, earning a 97% fresh rating on the review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes, with 77/79 positive critic reviews.[4] Brandon Katz of the Observer felt that the show built on its first season, stating that it may "be the best season of original programming the streamer [Netflix] has ever released" and praising particularly the performance of Britt Baron.[5] Emma Nolan of the Daily Express noted the more serious tone compared to the first season, but felt that the season was nevertheless "a delight to watch."[6]

This season of the program has been nominated for five Emmy awards, including Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series (Betty Gilpin), Outstanding Makeup for a Single-Camera Series (Non Prosthetic), Outstanding Hairstyling for a Single-Camera Series, Outstanding Period Costumes and Outstanding Stunt Coordination for a Comedy Series or a Variety Program.[7]
